Mrs. Douglas died on Saturday, December 10, 2005, following a short illness.
Mrs. Douglas was born on January 8, 1935, in Missouri. She was the daughter of the late Carter Rupert and Minnie Jones Luton, formerly of Trigg County.
Mrs. Douglas attended Trigg County High School in 1949-1951, before moving to Texas and graduated in 1952. She lived in Missouri, Kentucky, Texas, California, and Arizona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, C. Rupert Luton, Jr., and J.D. Luton.
Survivors include five daughters, Linda Fletcher, Debra Trout, Lisa Riley, Donna Aquilar, and Sheila Douglas; two sons, Edward Roberts, Jr., and Kevin Cary; seventeen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Louise Luton, and Tina Luton.
