Mr. Leggero was born on February 4, 1939, in Joliet, Ill. He was the son of the late John and Cora Maxine Dummermoth Leggero.
Mr. Leggero was a retired Truck Driver for the Teamsters Local 179 in Joliet, Ill., and was a member of the Living Waters Church in Trigg County.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Leggero; and a grandson, Theodore Frankonvich.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Phyllis Leggero of Cadiz; a son and daughter-in-law, Martin Frederick, Jr. and Debra Leggero of North Carolina; three daughters and son-in-law, Dawn Rae Frankonvich of Joliet, Ill., Cressa and Kenneth DeZee of Wilmington, Ill., and Annette Smilie of Cadiz; two brothers, Fred Leggero of Meridian, Miss., and Michael Leggero of Joliet, Ill.; nine grandchildren, Ruebin Conterez, Tabatha Rattray, Jason Frankonvich, Tenia Frankonvich, Ross Frankonvich, Matthew Frankonvich, Mallory Frankonvich, Teri Prochazka, and Rebecca Roberts; and six great-grandchildren, Bre-anna Conterez, Antoino Conterez, Austin Rattray, Samantha Rattray, Autumn Rattray, and Gavin Frankonvich.
