Graveside services for Mary A. Outlaw, 71, of Cadiz, were conducted on Saturday, December 2, 2006, at 10 a.m., at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Rev. Mark Terhune officiated at the service. Burial followed in the cemetery.

Ms. Outlaw died on Friday, December 1, 2006, at 3:54 a.m., at her residence of natural causes.

Ms. Outlaw was born on December 24, 1934, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Pruitt and Minnie Mitchell Adams.

Ms. Outlaw was a retired Health Care Administrator, and was a member of the Protestant Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Teddy Adams and Carl Edward Outlaw; grandson, Carl Jason Outlaw; a brother, Hershel Adams; and three sisters, Agnes Francis, Lucille Verbarg, and Ilean Kirby.

Survivors include a brother, Van Adams of Cadiz; two sisters, Lora Nell Thomas of Louisville, and Hettie Crossman of Jacksonville, Fla.; three half-brothers, Pruitt Adams, Jr., Tommy Adams and Wayne Adams, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two half-sisters, Betty Cook of Ft. Brag, N.C., and Ann Gomez of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and a step great-granddaughter, Katie Outlaw.

Serving as pallbearers were J.L. “Corky” Johnson, Paul Knight, Tony Adams, Cody Adams, Shane Knight, and Joe Wisman.

Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
