Funeral services for Mary Alice Edmonson Tyler, 49, of Wedowee, Ala., formerly of Cadiz, were conducted on Monday, January 29, 2007, at 10 a.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Mark Choate officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.

Mrs. Tyler died on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 6:49 a.m., at her home of natural causes.

Mrs. Tyler was born on May 6, 1957, in Murray. She was the daughter of the late Albert Hollon Edmonson and Mary Josephine Simmons Edmonson Poyner.

Mrs. Tyler was a homemaker, and was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Wedowee, Ala.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth Edmonson, Claude Edmonson, and Albert Linn Edmonson.

Survivors include her husband, William F. Tyler, Jr. of Wedowee, Ala.; three sons, William Franklin Tyler, III, of Wedowee, Ala., Kenneth Hollon Eaves of Greenville, and Jonathon Ross Eaves of Princeton; a daughter, Crystal Lee Knight of Cadiz; five brothers, Phillip Edmonson, Douglas Edmonson, David Edmonson, and Paul Edmonson, all of Cadiz, and Bobby Edmonson of Murray; three sisters, Gracie Choate of Cadiz, Becky Burden of Dundee, and Betty Smith of Eddyville; and seven grandchildren, Stephanie Nicole Eaves, Kenneth Michael Eaves, Jacob Dillion Eaves, Joseph Dallon Eaves, Anna Marie Knight, Austin Dale Knight, and Hayley Lynn Knight.

Serving as pallbearers were Larry Banister, David Edmonson, Jr., Ray Edmonson, Larry Knight, Tim Edmonson, and Eddie Ray Paul.
