Graveside services for Mary Ann Ross McNichols, 67, were conducted on Saturday, April 1, 2006, at 10 a.m., at the Morgan Cemetery in Bumpus Mills, Tenn.

Terry Lee McNichols officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Cemetery.

Mrs. McNichols died on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 11 a.m., at her residence of natural causes.

Mrs. McNichols was born on February 28, 1939, in Stewart County, Tenn. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Teola Speck Ross.

Mrs. McNichols had worked as a deputy clerk in the Trigg County Court Clerk’s office; was a homemaker; and was a member of Linton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 48-1/2 years, Teddy “Ted” McNichols of Cadiz; two sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Mitzi McNichols, and Ricky and Dianne McNichols, all of Cadiz; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sammy Kay Radford and Roberta Flatt and John Thomas, all of Cadiz; and six grandchildren, Shane Greggory McNichols, Hunter McNichols, Hannah McNichols, Ezra McNichols, Seth McNichols, and Matthew McNichols.

Serving as pallbearers were Kevin Radford, Ross Flatt, Terry Vaughn, Billy Morris, S.W. McNichols, and William Swift.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Dee Eggers, 203 Choctow Drive, Cadiz, KY 42211.

Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of all the arrangements.
