Funeral services for Mary Frances Gresham Curtis, 88, of Cadiz, were conducted on Monday, October 15, 2007, at 2 p.m., at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Richard Sexton officiated at the services. Burial followed at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Trigg County.

Mrs. Curtis died on Wednesday, October 10, 2007, at 2:42 p.m., at her residence following a long illness.

Mrs. Curtis was born on December 8, 1918, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Tommie Lee and Mary Ellen Keel Gresham.

Mrs. Curtis was a homemaker; a Cort Cosmetics and Blair distributor; and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Seldon Mason Curtis; a brother, Amos Gresham; four sisters, Necia Edmonds, Elsie Radford, Mae Williams, and Dean Choate.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Cecil Curtis, Donnie Curtis, and Tony and Debra Clayton Curtis, all of Cadiz; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Gayle Terrell of Cadiz; and a granddaughter and spouse, Jenny and Dennis Stasinki of Dayton Beach, Fla.

The Dunn Family, vocalists, and Alice Guess, pianist provided the music.

Serving as pallbearers were Brent Curtis, Dennis Stasinki, Bill Schafer, David Quist, Bill Compton, Joe Lee Terrell, Perry Fourqurean, and Donnie Holland.

Honorary pallbearers were Anna Curtis, Terry Baker, Dorothy Wilson, Cysena Ramsey, Jeanetta Rascoe, Fred Mitchell, Kidell Taylor, Alvin Curtis, Dale Curtis, and Earl Fowler, Jr.
