Funeral services for Mary Helen Cook, 84, of Princeton, were conducted on Friday, January 19, 2007, at 2 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Minister Bill Williams, assisted by Bro. Daniel Cook, officiated at the services. Burial followed in Beech Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Cook died on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at 1:40 a.m., at the home of her daughter.

Mrs. Cook was born on February 10, 1922, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late John L. and Edna Eison Peters.

Mrs. Cook was a retired LPN at Caldwell County Hospital, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Princeton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a half-sister, Dorothy Lee Tosh.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Kim Cook of Princeton; two daughters and son-in-law, Judy Ann Ladd, and Danna Sue and Bill Williams, all of Eddyville; five grandchildren, Daniel Cook, Josh Cook, Hannah Cook, Warren Keith Ladd, and Holly Lynn Williams; a great-grandchild, Katie Marie Ladd; a half-brother, Garnett E. Peters of Creve Coeur, Ill.; and two half-sisters, Lillie Mae Cunningham of Cadiz, and Millidean Gray of Eddyville.
