Funeral services for Mary Imogene Stewart Williams, 87, of Cadiz were conducted on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Billy Barnes officiated at the services. Burial followed at Rogers Cemetery, in Cerulean, KY.

Mrs. Williams died on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at 6:10 a.m. at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, of natural causes.

Mrs. Williams was born on Wednesday, July 20, 1921, in Cerulean. She was the daughter of the late Otho J. Stewart, Sr. and Liddie Rogers Stewart.

Mrs. Williams was homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Boyce B. Williams, two sons, Thomas Wayne “Tommy” Williams, Robert Williams, two brothers, Everett Eugene Stewart, Lindle “Bud” Stewart, five sisters, Barbara Lee Owens, Gertha Elizabeth Bennett, Elgie Louise Payne, Cora Frances Huddleston, and Evelyn Agnes Kingery.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Otha and Mary Beth Williams, of St. Cloud, FL, Lindle and Barbara Ann Williams, of Cadiz, Jessie and Henrietta Williams, of Bowling Green, Richard Williams, of Cadiz, Daughter and son-in-law, Emma and Loyd Wyatt, of Cerulean, Mary and William Spann, of Cadiz, one sister, Kathleen Vinson, of Mayfield, fourteen grand children, and twenty two great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers were Frankie Williams, William Spann, Darrell Hammond, Kenneth Miller, JR., Stanley Dawson, Bill H. Sumner, and John Deloach.

Kristee Smith, Vocalist and pianist provided the music.
