Wynn Harris, former girl’s varsity basketball coach, was named to the position last week by Middle School Principal Wendell Benningfield.
Harris coached the girl’s team for four seasons while teaching at Trigg County High School. He currently teaches social studies at the high school.
Prior to his move to Trigg County in 2000, Harris was employed with Bardstown Independent Schools in Bardstown, Ky. At that position Harris taught at various grade levels and also served as a department head.
Principal Wendell Benningfield said among 18 candidates, Harris stood out among the rest from his experience and dedication to the service of students.
