Funeral services for Mildred Gresham, 88, of the Confederate Community in Lyon County, were conducted on Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Greg Hollingsworth, assisted by Rev. James Bush officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Confederate Cemetery in Lyon County.

Mrs. Gresham died on Thursday, December 14, 2006, at 1:08 p.m., at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.

Mrs. Gresham was born on July 2, 1918, in Lyon County. She was the daughter of the late Charles Leonard and Lola Cummins Gresham.

Mrs. Gresham was a retired School Teacher and Bus Driver in Lyon County, and was a member of the Friendship United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Gresham and Hale Gresham.

Survivors include a son, Drury Burton Gillette of Eddyville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kim and Kelma White of Eddyville, and Jane Ann and Kenneth Jones of Beaver Dam; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
