Funeral services for Mildred Wilson Alexander, 87, of Cadiz, were conducted on Saturday, February 24, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Bloomfield Baptist Church in Cadiz.

Rev. E.A. Brown, Sr. officiated at the services. Burial followed in Trigg Memory Acres in Cadiz.

Mrs. Alexander died on Monday, February 19, 2007, at 10:12 p.m., at Trigg County Hospital of natural causes.

Mrs. Alexander was born on May 18, 1919, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Elmanuel and Hattie Taylor Wilson.

Mrs. Alexander was a retired cook at HamTown Restaurant in Cadiz, and was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church in Cadiz, where she was a member of the Mother’s Board and Kitchen Committee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tandy Alexander.

Survivors include five sons, Archie Alexander, Willie Alexander, and Charles Alexander, all of Cadiz, and Dennis Almad and George Alexander, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven daughters, Emma Acree, Imogene Tyler, Mildred Mayes, Rheda Alexander, and Doris Outing, all of Cadiz, Martha Alexander of Radford, Mich., and Joyce Graham of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Hazel Burke of Cadiz; 44 grandchildren; 68 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
