A person was fueling his small boat at one of the gas docks at the marina when a small puff of fire emanated from the back of the boat, and Prizer Point workers called 911, evacuated the boat and pushed the boat away from the dock to keep any possible fires away from the gas, Batts said.
However, the puff of fire had been brief, and by the time the fire department arrived there wasn’t a fire, said Batts.
