Rev. Monty Flanigan officiated at the services. Burial followed in Green Hill Memorial Gardens in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. Calhoun died on Tuesday, August 29, 2006, at 10 a.m., at her residence of natural causes.
Mrs. Calhoun was born on April 20, 1917, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Jane Downs Noel.
Mrs. Calhoun was retired from the International Shoe Factory in Hopkinsville, and was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lane Calhoun; a brother, Owen Noel; and a sister, Estell Noel.
Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Magdalene and Bill Calhoun of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
