I had the opportunity once again to photographically participate in Project Graduation this year. It always amazes me how much nicer the kids are today than when I was one myself. I know we read about the few that maybe stepped across the line or where in the wrong place at the wrong time, but those are ones that make the news. The good kid that does everything as right as they know how ain’t news. They are out there though, in large numbers, and I feel better after seeing 130 of them Friday night getting ready to start their adult life. A more wonderful collection of young people of various size, color, and inclinations that will make this a better place to live in the years to come you could not ask for. Good luck to each and every one of you in all you do, it was an honor and quite the hoot taking pictures of you at ballgames, proms, beauty pageants, parades and dances as you shot through the educational maze we call school. Hopefully I’ll be around to get a few shots of your kids and grandkids.
