Clarence and Peggy Morris, Sr., of Cadiz, formerly of Chandler, Ind., plan to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary with a renewal of vows on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at 1:30 p.m., at the Canton Baptist church. Rev. Paul Cannon will officiate the ceremony. Following the church ceremony, their children will host a 50th Anniversary Reception at the Countryside Family Restaurant in Cadiz.

The couple was married on November 4, 1955, in Evansville, Ind., by the Justice of the peace, Otis Fulton. Clarence retired from the Whirlpool Corporation in Evansville, Ind., and Peggy retired from Central Industries of Chandler, Ind., and Wal-Mart of Booneville, Ind.

The couple has six children, Debbie Warner of Booneville, Ind., Glenda (Jeannie) Williams, and Cheryl Williams, both of Chandler, Ind., Clarence (Boone) Morris, Jr., of Cadiz, Cindy Harper of Eddyville, and Beth (Corky) Tannehill of Hartford, Ky.; 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. One son, Robert, and two grandchildren are deceased.

All friends and relatives are invited to celebrate with the family at both events.
