Mrs. Darnell, 103, Benton, died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009, at 11:40 p.m. at Spring Creek Health Care, Murray. A homemaker, she was a member of Union Hill Church of Christ.
Preceding her in death were her husband, William Olsie (Top) Darnell; two daughters, Willis Emogene Darnell Cope and Anna Pauline Darnell Henson; one son, Sherman Irwin Darnell; five sisters, Elta Darnell Pace, Elma Darnell Austin, Delza Darnell Haymes, Ruth Darnell Washam and Margarine Darnell; two brothers, Cratus and Garland Darnell; three grandchildren.
