The Rev. Dr. Tom Martin will officiate at the serv-ices. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsville.
Mrs. Tribble died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Wellington Parc in Ownesboro of natural causes.
Mrs. Tribble was born Monday, August 7, 1916, in Christian County. She was the daughter of the late James William and Minnie Myrtle (Davis) Courtney.
Mrs. Tribble was a homemaker. She was a member of Cadiz Christian Church, where she was one of the first Women Deacons, member of Christian Women’s Fellowship and served on several Church Committees.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Raymond Tribble, Sr.; five sisters, Grace Darling Lacy, Nellie Opal Clark, Ruth Petty Rawlings, Annie May Gough and Louise Howard Hoefer, one twin sister, Lorene Glover, two brothers, James Garnett Courtney and Raymond Thurston Courtney.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Owen R. and Donna Tribble, Jr. of Owensboro, one daughter, Faye (Tribble) Sweeden, of Orlando, Fla., five grandchildren, ?Cindy Sweeden, Mark Sweeden, Michael Sweeden, Brad Tribble, Andrea Johnson, eight great grandchildren, Samantha Sweeden, Sebastian Sweeden, Rachel Sweeden, Rebecca Sweeden, Sarah Sweeden, Hannah Sweeden, Alissa Sweeden, Lauren Johnson.
Serving as pallbearers were Mark Sweeden, Mike Sweeden, Brad Tribble, Scott Hancock, Lindsey Clark, Wesley Parker.
Laura Grigson, Organist provided the music.
Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons and Elders of Cadiz Christian Church.
