Funeral services for Norma Allen Cook, 73, of Hopkinsville, were held Monday, January 18, 2010 at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz. The Revs. Franklin Skaggs and John Arvin officiated. Interment followed at Adams Cemetery in Trigg County.

Cook died Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was also a member of Bainbridge Homemakers.

She is survived by her husband Jack Cook of Hopkinsville; one daughter, Teresa Keeling of Todd County; two sons, Lowell Cook of Huntsville, Ala., and Robert Cook of Bowling Green; two sisters, Lois Duquenne of Baton Rouge, La., and Nancy Bruce of Taylorsville, Ill.; three brothers, Richard Allen of Tampa, Fla., Dale Allen of Leesburg, Fla., and Ray Allen of Duncan, S.C.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Her parents were Joe Henry and Mabel (Oathout) Allen. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Allen and Loren Allen.

Music provided by Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Choir. Serving as pallbearers were David Ginn, Glen Smiley, Nicholas Cook, Rex Cook, Vance Cook and Alan Kreilick.
