Funeral services for Norman “Nab” Turner, 66, of Cadiz, were conducted on Sunday, April 12, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home.

Rev. Robert McIntosh officiated at the services. Burial followed at the New Skinner Cemetery, Trigg Co.

Mr. Turner died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at 11 a.m. at his residence in Trigg County following a four wheeler accident.

Mr. Turner was born on Friday, April 10, 2009, 1942, in Trigg Co. He is the son of the late Terry Hayes and Willie Maude Skinner Turner.

Mr. Turner was retired from Johnson Controls. He was a member of Rocky Ridge Baptist church where he was church treasurer and Sunday school teacher. He was a member of the KY League of Sportsman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Turner, and Jerry Turner.

Survivors include, two daughters and son in laws, Lisa and William Rogers, of Cadiz, Tammy and Kenneth Cherry, of Cadiz, three brothers, Cordell Turner, Cadiz, Dorris Turner, Cadiz, and Ricky Turner, Cadiz, three sisters, Erma Jean Etheridge, Cadiz, Judy Wyatt, Hopkinsville, and Shelia Stewart, Cadiz, one aunt, Mayme “Pete” Stewart, of Cadiz, grandchildren, Stephanie McAtee, Lauren Fowler, Jamus McAtee, all of Cadiz, and one great grandchild, Daylyn Allen, of Cadiz.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Etheridge, Edward Etheridge, Jerry Clayton Etheridge, Stacey Turner, Larry Layton Turner, Terry Stewart, Dustin Turner, and Brandon Calhoun.

Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Dunn, Mike Mathis, Stephen Thomas, Mike Crunk, Keith Seigler, Jerry Farris, Bruce Higbee, Barry Blane, Dallas King, Craig Fowler, Jimmy McAtee, Gerald Littlejohn, and Gary Houha.

Shelia Lancaster, June Cobb, Billy Robertson, and Ken Holland, vocalists provided the music.
