Jimmie and Vickey Oakley of Cadiz will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 – 4 p.m. on Sept. 26 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 3666 Blue Springs Road.

The event will be hosted by their children, Camille Lane of Frankfort, Mark and Tina Lane and granddaughter Madison Lane, all of Cadiz. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. The couple requests no gifts.

The Lanes were married Sept. 30, 1960m at Golden Pond Baptist Church. Bro. Randolph Allen officiated.

Jimmie Lane is the son of the late Era “Pete” and Louise Lane. Vickey Oakley is the daughter of Lila Futrell Oakley Murray and the late Jesse Oakley.
