Funeral services for Orbie Tosh, 82, of Princeton, were conducted on Friday, October 27, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. James Gray officiated at the services. Burial followed in Rogers Cemetery in Christian County.

Mr. Tosh died on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at 1:30 p.m., in Caldwell County Hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Tosh was born on July 2, 1924, in Caldwell County. He was the son of the late Hugh and Bertha Mae Beavers Tosh.

Mr. Tosh was a retired self-employed building contractor; was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church; member of Clinton Masonic Lodge #82; member of the Shriner’s Lodge in Madisonville; and was a U.S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Aldridge Tosh of Princeton; a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Lenita Tosh of Princeton; three daughters and sons-in-law, Covita Tosh, Corita and Harold Baker, and Gail and Richard Blackburn, all of Princeton; a brother, Hugh Tosh, Jr. of Providence; two sisters, Becky Campbell of Princeton and Dorothy Lee Sullivan of Caldwell County; and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Tosh, Harold Baker, Allen Tosh, Cody Baker, Jesse Aldridge, and Hugh Tosh, Jr.
