Funeral services for Other Lee Noffsinger, 85, of Crofton, were conducted on Thursday, February 8, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Crofton.

Rev. Mike VanHeyningen officiated at the services. Burial followed on Saturday, at 10:30 a.m., in Lincoln Township Cemetery in Stevensville, Mich.

Mr. Noffsinger died on Monday, February 5, 2007, at Maple Manor Nursing Home in Greenville.

Mr. Noffsinger was born on March 21, 1921, in Cleaton, Ky. He was the son of the late Willie and Mamie Hicks Noffsinger.

Mr. Noffsinger was owner and operator of B-Line Motel & Café, and also worked for Chicago Extruded Metal; was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Broadview, Ill.; was a Coast Guard Seaman First Class; and Member of the Hopkinsville Moose Lodge and American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Maxine Noffsinger in 1980.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma June Noffsinger; three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Noffsinger of Elgin, Ill., Jim and Finney Noffsinger of Eddyville, and Ron and Jill Noffsinger of Hanson; a daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Curtis Pyle of Crofton; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Calvin and Sandra Gamblin of Nortonville and Ronald Owen and Lorie Gamblin of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
