Mr. Alcaraz died on Thursday, April 5, 2007, at his home of a sudden heart attack.
Mr. Alcaraz was born on August 18, 1964, in Los Angeles, Calif. He was the son of Benny and June Hendricks Alcaraz of Ely, Nev. (Mother was formerly of Trigg County).
Mr. Alcaraz was an ironworker, and was a member of Glendora Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elmo and Myrtle Rhea Bridges Hendricks of Cadiz, and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Marie Alcaraz of Tucson, Ariz.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Michele Alcaraz; two daughters, Nicole Harris and Megan Gray, all of Covina, Calif.; two sisters, Christie Van Horn and Charlotte Boardman; two nephews, Ryan Lane and Andrew Boardman; and a niece, Alexis Boardman of Ely, Nev.
Local survivors include aunts and uncles, Jane Stallons, W.C. Hendricks, Vernon Hendricks, Peggy Futrell, and Connie Hendricks.
