Revs. Wayne Glass and Daniel Swartz will officiate at the services. Burial will follow in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mr. Curling died on Sunday, September 17, 2006, at 3:27 p.m., at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.
Mr. Curling was born on September 12, 1910, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Robert and Virgie Ellen Holland Curling.
Mr. Curling was the retired owner and operator of Curling Trucking; was a member of the Cadiz Masonic Lodge #121; and was a member of Canton Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lurline Lyons Curling in 1992; a son, Billy Earl Curling in 1956; three brothers, Clarence “Jake” Curling, Tom Curling, and Jesse Curling; sister, Grace Coke; and a grandchild, Angela Diane Hillman in 1960.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Hillman of Cadiz and Shelvia Bridges of Hopkinsville; a brother, Ray Curling of Cadiz; three sisters, Dorothy Bridges, Ivy Hammond, and Ruby Birdsong, all of Cadiz; grandchildren, Lisa and Craig Stallons, Gina and Barry Allen, Randy and Lori Hillman, Ricky and Tammy Bridges, and David Paul and Leslie Bridges; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Lucas Chesnut, Whitney Stallons, Austin Allen, Randi Lynn Hillman, Adrienne Hillman, Kyle Bridges, Zackary Bridges, Bridget Bridges, and Colten Bridges; and a great-great-grandchild, Dillon Ray Skinner.
Chasta Comperry, vocalist, Charlotte Cunningham, pianist, and Barbara Hicks, organist will provide the music.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Hillman, Ricky Bridges, David Paul Bridges, Craig Stallons, Barry Allen, and Kenny Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Bob Hicks, Bobby Cunningham, Dorris Cunningham, Fred Hillman, Carl T. Bridges, Larry Meredith, Barbara Holloway, Dianne Thomas, and Linda Belmear.
