Mrs. Fritz was born June 8, 1929 in Shelbyville, TN to the late John Drury and Lorene Myrtle Ennis Smith. She was a school teacher for Sinking Fort and UHA. Peggy and her late husband were the owner and operator for Fritz Sporting Goods for 22 years. Peggy was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church, Ruth Thomas/Martha White WMU, Christian County Historical Society, and the Montgomery Homemakers Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sol Fritz Jr; a daughter, Donna June Fritz, and a brother, Gentry D. Smith.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Fritz Cook, of Shelbyville, KY, Nancy Fritz, of Cadiz, two granddaughters, Sarah Elizabeth and Rachel Claire Cook.
