Funeral services for Mildred “Mickey” Perry, 81, of Caldwell County, were conducted on Saturday, March 11, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Morris Clark, assisted by Rev. Ray Board and Rev. Chuck Ladd, officiated at the services. Burial followed in Liberty Church Cemetery in Caldwell County.

Mrs. Perry died on Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at 10:05 p.m., at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kuttawa following a short illness.

Mrs. Perry was born on April 27, 1924, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Tilford and Iva Lou French Ladd.

Mrs. Perry was a homemaker; a member of Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church; member of the Princeton Chapter 315 Order of Eastern Star; and a member of the Caldwell County Republican Women.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, June Rodman; and three brothers, Elwood Ladd, Donald Haydon Ladd, and Charles Ladd.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Clinton Perry; two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Lucy Perry of Princeton, and Andy Perry of Louisville; granddaughters, Sharon Marie Edmonds of Louisville, and Elizabeth Ann Perry of Berea; two brothers, Mike Ladd of Caldwell County, and Neil Ladd of Aiken, SC.
