The Cadiz city government had asked them to enforce the provision more thoroughly, as it had provided variances more often than not in the past, according to Planning Commission Chairman Bob Brame.
One commissioner said that while they don’t want to look like they’re “picking on” people that will want to build new subdivisions in the future, enforcing this provision fairly is important.
In other actions, the commission agreed to change Trigg County property that will be part of the new Trigg County Senior Center on Noel Road.
