Domestic Violence

Cadiz Police Sergeant Rick Martin arrested Glenda Malone, 45, of Cadiz for an alleged Fourth Degree Assault on October 2. Martin’s report claims that during an argument between the accused and her husband, she struck him with a shovel. The defendant was lodged in the Christian County Jail.

Loud Car/Marijuana

Officer Chad Grace of the Cadiz Police Department arrested 19-year-old Derenzo Mayes of Cadiz for a nuisance vehicle and possession of marijuana. The report alleges that Grace stopped the suspect for loud music in his vehicle. Upon receiving consent to search the car, he found a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle. After the October 3 arrest. Mayes was lodged in the Christian County Jail.

Another loud car

On October 1, Officer Matt Dolezal arrested Terrance Bingham, 20, of Cadiz for allegedly having loud music in his vehicle on Cunningham Avenue. While investigating, Dolezal discovered that Bingham’s operator’s license was under suspension, and arrested him on that charge.

Warrants served

Major Duncan Wiggins served three Christian County bench warrants to Jackie L. Brown, 45 of Cadiz on October 1. The arrest report did not detail the nature of the warrants.

Careless driving/Suspended O.L.

Officer Chad Grace arrested 30-year-old Corey Alexander of 119 Depot street for alleged Careless Driving and Operating Under a Suspended Operator’s License on October 7. The report states that once Grace observed the suspect operating his motor vehicle on West End Street in a careless manner, he stopped the vehicle to find the driver’s license to be suspended. Upon booking, Alexander was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
