Paul Rhodes, 23, of Westend Street, was arrested by Cadiz Police on Jan. 30. He was served with a Henderson County warrant for flagrant nonsupport.
Nichols Warner, 21, of Murray, was arrested on Feb. 2 and charged with driving under the influence in the first degree, expired registration and possession of an open container. According to the report, Warner was stopped for expired registration, after which Officer J.R. Burnett noticed he had slurred speech and appeared to be under the influence. He reportedly could not understand simple instructions and failed a field sobriety test. An open container was also found in the vehicle.
Cadiz Police responded to the scene of an accident at the intersection of Main Street and Hospital Street on Feb. 2. According to the report, Carol Noel, 46, of Gracey, was traveling east on Main Street, when Kacey Rexing, 16, of Cadiz, was making a left turn and pulling onto Main Street from Hospital Street. Rexing did not see Noel’s vehicle and Noel struck Rexing’s vehicle in the driver’s side door. Rexing suffered a neck injury and was treated at Trigg County Hospital. Both vehicles had moderate damage. Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
