The Cadiz Police Department is asking anyone who might have given money to Lisa Cunningham during the last two weeks to call Major Duncan Wiggins at 522-8369.

According to a press release from police, Cunningham was spotted on Dec. 2 by Officer J.R. Burnett outside the residence at 127 Wallace Ave. Because he knew there was an active warrant on her, he approached her to get proper identification. After asking a few questions, Burnett informed Cunningham that she was under arrest and she fled into the residence. Officers Matthew Dolezal and Jeff Ethridge then came to the scene for assistance.

The report said that Cunningham was uncooperative and that while she was resisting arrest, Dolezal deployed his taser. She reportedly continued to resist and broke free, escaping the residence. Police were able to catch her outside, and arrested her at that time. All three officers were assaulted during the arrest, though none were injured, the report said.
