Keandra Hawkins, a team supervisor with the American Red Cross, said people gave them about 20 donations through day, although they usually get about 30. The Red Cross is hoping to make the blood drives more common, Hawkins said.
After the blood is collected, it is sent to a blood center in Nashville to be analyzed, Hawkins said.
