A key factor in the price of insurance policy premiums is the proximity to fire protection. As a part of the city, emergency responders dispatched fire trucks from the Cadiz Fire Station at 41 Main Street- less than a mile away. Now that the three subdivisions are no longer a part of incorporated Cadiz City limits, firemen would be dispatched from the Montgomery Volunteer Fire Department at 215 Hammond Lake Road, nearly two-and-a-half miles away.
