Funeral services for Richard “Dick” Tucker, 70, of Fredonia, were conducted on Monday, November 20, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Morgan’s Funeral Home in Princeton.

Rev. Curtis Franklin officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Fredonia Cemetery.

Mr. Tucker died on Saturday, November 18, 2006, at 5:23 a.m., at Rivers Bend Retirement Center in Kuttawa following a long illness.

Mr. Tucker was born on July 28, 1936, in Marshalltown, Iowa. He was the son of the late George Barrett and Lora Buchanan Tucker.

Mr. Tucker was a retired Kentucky State Correctional Officer; and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Fredonia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Darrell Tucker.

Survivors include his wife, June Perkins Tucker of Fredonia; a son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Missi Tucker of Fredonia; three grandchildren, Bayley Tucker, Emma Tucker, and Ben Tucker; and a sister, Barbara Cunningham of Campbellsville.
