Rev. Shoney Oliver officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Bristo Lancaster Cemetery in Trigg County.
Mr. Ezell died on Sunday, February 12, 2006, at 11:37 p.m., at Shady Lawn Nursing Home in Trigg County.
Mr. Ezell was born on August 17, 1927, in Trigg County. He was the son of the late Richard “Dick” Ezell and Ollie Wyatt Ezell Mize.
Mr. Ezell was a farmer, a lumberman, and a member of Delmont Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank Boyd Ezell, Jesse F. Ezell, and Ewing Ezell; and a sister, Lillie Thomas.
Survivors include three sisters, Lois Barnes, Ruby Lancaster, and Ida Mae Daugherty, all of Cadiz; and several nieces and nephews.
Teresa Smith, pianist, and the Delmont Baptist Church Choir provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Berlin Moore, Bruce Moore, Ray Wyatt, Kenneth Futrell, Stacy Futrell, and Jerry Ford.
