Ms. Burchett died on Wednesday, October 29, 2008, at 3:41 a.m., at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.
Ms. Burchett was born on December 2, 1960, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of Royce Burchett and the late Marie Oliver Burchett.
Ms. Burchett was a homemaker and a member of Northside Baptist Church and Princeton Optimist Club.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a foster child, Eli Wilson.
Survivors, in addition to her father, includes a sister, Nita Oden of Princeton; a foster sister, Tina Sander of Princeton; five foster children, Jacob and Sean Martin, Jordan and Jared Choate, and Megan Jackson of Princeton,
