A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Robert Alexander MacNab, 75, of Cadiz. Rev. Lloyd Tucker will officiate at the service.

Mr. MacNab died on Monday, October 2, 2006, at 4:35 p.m., at his residence in Cadiz of natural causes.

Mr. MacNab was born on October 23, 1930, in Chicago, Ill. He was the son of the late Alexander and Anna Linnea Hult MacNab.

Mr. MacNab was a painter and decorator; was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict; was a volunteer with Helping Hands; and was a member of the Lutheran Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur MacNab.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra Jane Frazelle MacNab of Cadiz; three sons, Craig Robert MacNab of Mt. Prospect, Ill., Robert Kenneth MacNab of Homer Glen, Ill., and Roger Allen MacNab of Cadiz; a brother, Kenneth MacNab of Gilberts, Ill.; a sister, Carole Kurtz of Branson, Mo.; and nine grandchildren, Shelby MacNab, Lindsay MacNab, Amanda MacNab, Lauren MacNab, Jake MacNab, Matthew MacNab, Alec MacNab, Christian MacNab, and Zachary MacNab..

Memorial contributions may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice, 101 West 18th Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
