Revs. Allan Stokes, Howard Jones, and Steve Hibbs officiated at the services. Burial followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Golden Pond, Ky.
Mr. Lilly died on Sunday, September 3, at 10:30 a.m., at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in LBL, of an apparent heart attack.
Mr. Lilly was born on November 5, 1950, in Golden Pond. He was the son of Ruth Jones Lilly of Cadiz, and the late Cyril Milton Lilly.
Mr. Lilly was the former owner and operator of Knit-Well Hosiery and was presently a Supervisor in the Housekeeping Department at Lake Barkley State Resort Park; was a farmer; a member of New Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church, where he served as a Deacon and Song Director, and was a former Sunday School teacher; and was a member of the Cadiz Gideon Camp.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, is his wife of 37 years, Kay Underhill Lilly of Cadiz; a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Angie Lilly of Hopkinsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Matt Oliver of Cadiz; two brothers and sister-in-law, Wallace Wade Lilly and Jerry Milton and Karen Lilly, all of Cadiz; and four grandchildren, Matthew Payton Oliver, Eric Tryon Oliver, Madison Page Lilly and Garrett Wayne Lilly.
Geraldine Baker, pianist and vocalist; Virginia Hibbs, vocalist; Rev. Steve Hibbs, pianist; and Rev. Allen and Joy Stokes, vocalists, provided the music.
Serving as pallbearers were Scotty Hanberry, Tommy Hanberry, Ralph Lilly, Gary Lilly, Larry Lilly, Kenneth Cossey, Glenn Cossey, and Johnny Don Cossey.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Huskey, Frankie Underhill, and Stevie Hanberry.
