Services for Ronnie Humphries, 34, South Virginia St., were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. Scott Lacy officiating. Burial will be in Jones Cemetery in Trigg County.

He died at 2:46 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tenn., of injuries he had suffered in a motorcycle accident on Fort Campbell Boulevard.

A native of Trigg County, he was born June 26, 1975, the son of Gene and Jan Humphries, Hopkinsville.

He was a construction worker and was a Baptist.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his daughter, Kaitlin Humphries, Hopkinsville; two brothers, Marvin Humphries Jr. and his wife Linda, Bobby Humphries, both of Hopkinsville, and his grandparents, Doug and Mary Boren, Trigg County; a nephew, Stetson Humphries; and a niece, Kelsey Humphries.

Memorials may be made to the Kaitlin Humphries Trust Fund at Planters Bank.
