Mrs. Brasher died on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at 9:05 a.m., at Princeton Health Care Manor following a long illness.
Mrs. Brasher was born on March 12, 1914, in Caldwell County. She was the daughter of the late Clyde Crowe and Jimmie Hopson Parker.
Mrs. Brasher was a retired Private Sitter, and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Octagon Brasher; and a daughter, Martha Ann Curry.
Survivors include seven grandchildren, Rose Gilbert of Cadiz, Arnold Pettigrew of Racine, Wis., Patsy Faulkner, Dicky Pettigrew, Dereke Curry, and Stanley Curry, all of Princeton, and Bobby Curry of Hopkinsville; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
