With a busy week ahead of them, the Cadiz Rotary Club kicked off their Radio Auction week with a breakfast April 10. And as all meetings that begin at 6:00 a.m. should, the Rotarians featured in theirs a motivational speaker.

Gary ‘Coach Sig’ Sigmond entertained Rotary with tales from his coaching past as they enjoyed breakfast at Lake Barkley State Resort Park.

Also attending the breakfast was Ed Whitfield, Republican Representative of Kentucky’s First District. Whitfield presented Rotarians Sandra Myers and Danny Dickerson with Paul Harris Fellow awards (Paul Harris being the founder of Rotary) for service above self.

This year’s auction, the club’s 39th, began Monday and continues until 10 p.m. Friday evening. Broadcast on WKDZ 106.5, callers can bid on items nightly from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Bids can be made by calling 522-8720 or toll-free at 1-866-524-8720.
