The Rev. Don Bunch officiated at the service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Williams died at 11:59 p.m. December 15, 2009 at Christian Care Center of Kuttawa of natural causes.
Mr. Williams was born April 25, 1942 in Nashville, Tenn. He was the son of the late Felix Ewing Grundy David and Ollie Mede Jones Williams.
Mr. Williams was a maintenance worker and a member of the Kelly Baptist Church in Crofton.
Survivors include two sons, James Gregory Williams of Wasilla, Alaska and Adam Wesley Williams of Murray; two daughters, Melinda Williams Mayers of Cadiz, Kristi Williams Poll of Murray; two brothers, Thomas Henry Williams of Hopkinsville and twin brother Ray Williams of Hopkinsville; eight grandchildren, Crystal McCraw of Gracey, Amber Marie Williams of Wasilla, Alaska, William T. Mayers, Jr. of Cadiz, James Gregory Williams, II of Wasilla, Alaska, Samantha Renee Mayers of Cadiz, Matthew Steven Williams of Murray, Kasia Reba Williams of Murray and Madison Michelle Poll of Murray; three-great grandchildren, Layla Rain Carpenter of Rosine, Deliah Bell Mayers of Rosine and Darren Jay McCraw, Jr. of Gracey.
