Larry Lancaster, lay minister of the Episcopal Cathedral in Nashville officiated. Burial followed at Trigg Memory Acres.
Mrs. Lancaster died of natural causes at 4:40 a.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 at Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz.
Ruby Lancaster was born June 16, 1925 in Trigg County to Richard and Ollie Wyatt Ezelle.
She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Lancaster; parents, Richard and Ollie Ezell-Mize; four brothers, Ewing, Jesse, Frank and RD Ezell; and three sisters, Lillie Thomas, Ida Mae Daugherty and Lois Barnes.
Survivors include one son, Larry Lancaster of Nashville, Tenn., and several nieces and nephews.
Music was given by Barbara Jean Futrell, pianist and vocalist, Patsy Wallace and Mitzi McNichols, vocalists, and Stacey Futrell, guitarist and vocalist.
