Rev. O.D. Boyd officiated at the services. Burial followed in East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
Mrs. Dobbins died on Wednesday, October 4, 2006, at 4 p.m., at her residence of natural causes.
Mrs. Dobbins was born on August 27, 1925, in Trigg County. She was the daughter of the late John Edmond and Eliza Ann Faughn Malone.
Mrs. Dobbins was retired from Johnson Controls; she had worked at Princeton Hosiery Mill; and was a member of Cadiz Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters and brothers-in-law, Garvie and James Gray of Cadiz and Barbara and Harley Watson of Princeton; three nieces, Laura Daubert of Central City, Cathy Peace, Jeannie Gray, both of Cadiz; a nephew, John E. Gray of Cadiz; and several great-nieces and nephews, Brianna Humphries, Angie Reynolds, Matthew Hawkins, Josh Gray, Jonathan Gray, Jennifer Lynn Miller, Sarah Preston, Brittney Daubert, and Brayant Hawkins; great-great-nieces and nephews, Keegan Elizabeth Miller, Grayden Miller, Candice Jones, Shalimeka Jones, Delores Jones, Ashley Jones, Haydon Reynolds, Hunter Reynolds, Jay Humphries, and Katie Hawkins.
Serving as pallbearers were Josh Gray, Jonathan Gray, Bryant Hawkins, Pete Daubert, Steven Reynolds, and Josh Humphries.
Cathy Peach, pianist, provided the music.
