School calendar changes for 2005-2006 year

At Thursday’s regular meeting of the Trigg County Board of Education, the strongest athletic team in history was recognized in addition to approving the 2005-2006 calendar that has changes that might affect plans for the Trigg County Country Ham Festival.

Beth Sumner, assistant superintendent for personnel, conducted a district-wide survey to determine what the best course of action would be regarding the typical nine-day furlough students are given around Trigg County’s largest event of the year.

In her estimation, the response from employees was divided.
