Memorial services for Sherene Lyn Harper 40, of Cadiz will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville with military rights. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Rachel Wofford will officiate with a Military Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville.

Mrs. Harper died at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at her residence after a long battle with cancer.

Mrs. Harper was born February 1, 1967 in Flint, Mich. She was the daughter of Gene and Sandra Davis Reek, of Grayling, Mich.

Mrs. Harper was a US Army Veteran and had been employed by the Handy Korner Market in Trigg County. She was of the Lutheran Faith.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Bryan B. Harper of Cadiz; two sons, Brandon and Trevor Harper of the home; two brothers, Tom Reek of Davison, Mich., and Troy Reek of Flint, Mich.; one sister, Shelly Reek of Flint, Mich., and many friends.
