“We acted on a tip reporting a suspicious vehicle in the area, and our investigation yielded several items identified as stolen property,” Said Trigg County Deputy Dane Hughes.
The suspects burglarized areas characterized by Sheriff Randy Clark as “places of opportunity,” including storage sheds and garages.
Hughes said they tended to steal “tools and similar items.”
“The thefts were random as they hit both locked and unlocked buildings. There was no set M.O. for the incidents,” said Hughes.
A third suspect, identified as Torell Boyd was also arrested at the scene by the Kentucky State Police for unrelated offenses.
“They have been in the area for six weeks, by their own admission,” Said Hughes.
