Warrant executed

Joseph Jolly Jones, 45, of 475 Lafayette St., was arrested on Jan. 26 after being served with a Christian County warrant for failure to appear in court. He was originally charged with theft by failure to make required disposition on Aug. 10, 2007.

Revoked license

On Jan. 28, Deputy Dane Hughes was dispatched 355 Barkley Circle, where an elderly lady reported an unwanted person knocking on her door. Hughes found Alvin Jamila, 34, of Hopkinsville, alone at the residence. He presented Hughes with a Tennessee driver’s license and told him he lived in Hopkinsville. After checking the license, Hughes discovered that it was revoked. Afterward, Jamila told Hughes he knew it had been revoked for a DUI conviction. Carr’s Wrecker Service then towed the vehicle Jamila had driven there off the property. Jamila was charged with display or possession of a canceled or fictitious operator’s license.

Assault charge

Floyd E. Knight, 51, of 1909 Woodland Dr., was arrested on Jan. 29 and charged with assault in the fourth degree (domestic violence), no visible injury. According to the report, Knight was intoxicated and became angry about the victim’s father staying there. He reportedly broke a plastic pane from the counter top and grabbed the victim around the neck, wrestling her to the floor.

Nonsupport bench warrant

Shawna Rhodes, 28, of 146 Westend St., Apt. E33, was arrested by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Department on Jan. 30. She was served with a Henderson County bench warrant for flagrant nonsupport.
