The couple was married December 16, 1985 with Judge McKenny of Eddyville officiating.
Karen is the daughter of the late Weldon and Billie Gresset. She retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
Richard Sholar is the son of the late Robert and Lula Sholar.
Richard also retired from Lake Barkley State Resort Park.
The couple have one son, Terry Hendon (and wife Rebecca); two grandsons, Gauge Hendon and Kyle Owen; and one granddaughter, Kendra (and husband Brandon) Obryan.
