Your Trigg County Middle School Boy’s Basketball Team has been invited to participate in the 8th Grade Boy’s Middle School Kentucky State Basketball Tournament. The tournament will be held in Lexington at the Kentucky Basketball Academy from Friday through Sunday. 64 of the top boy’s middle school basketball teams will be participating in this magnificent event.

It may seem that the performance of your Midcats this past season has grabbed the attention of some basketball enthusiasts across this great Bluegrass state of Kentucky. If you actually think about it, this wonderful 8th grade team (who mostly consists of the spectacular 7th grade team from last year) has a combined two-year district basketball record of 15 – 1 and a two-year overall record of 26 – 4. Now, that ‘is’ worthy of some attention!

Your Midcats will be facing Ross Point Middle School on Friday in the first round of pool play. Your Midcats will then compete on Saturday in bracket play.
