The Secretary of State’s office said that Trigg County is allotted a total of $82,650 for the purchase of 15 new voting machines, upgrades on 20 existing machines and purchase of one optical scanning absentee ballot.
Leaving nearly $10,000 unaccounted for, a representative of Harp Enterprise – who was awarded the bid – said the county would be able to recoup the cost from the state.
“You will receive every bit of it,” Butch Pass said at the meeting Oct. 18.
